Thing is gears1 still looks amazing. I have a ps3 and i have some great games but Gears is still right up there with Sonys best.
And yes i have uncharted.
I have played alot of games this gen that look amazing and have very little else going on as the developer has concentrated on the graphics then built the gameplay around that. Sony seem to be doing this a lot lately.

The guy above is right. . TombRaider was first released on the Sega Saturn then the PS1. Sony then brought the franchise as an exclusive until 2005.
The reason is says xbox360 first is because theres more of em out there. Simple.
And yeah the 360 is the lead platform.

The ps3 version is just the same... worse in fact if the magazine reviews are anything to go by.
It looks like afun game but graphically its average. Gears is better looking and halo3 has way better lighting. I will probably wait for Killzone.
Looks solid but not amazing. The lighting isnt great but adequate. My mates in the beta so will see if it looks better on a bigger hd tv.
The wathogs good but the rest of the level is rubbish, having a wathog does not make a Halo level.

More i see of it the more i looks and plays like a furturistic COD4. Which is great if you like COD4 which just about everyone does. And although not a fan of that myself ( far to linear and far to many checkpoint runs , bad AI etc), this does look like its better and more solid. Need to hear more about its structure before i buy though.
I like GT a lot but i have a feeling Forza3 will be out before this and judging by how much they added from Forza 1 to Forza 2 Gran Turismo will have a fight on its hands.
Im not talking graphics here as Gt always looks amazing but actual game content. with Forza introducing the Auction house and increasing the paint creator on number two who knows what Forza3 will bring.
Looking forward to the next GT though i just hope they don't rest on there laurels.

Its a game that will be played by a few million people. Youtube is used by a billion. So... NO it won't.
Can't say im to pleased. Same old resi evil, same characters etc. I remember just after Resi 1 came out and the developers were going to have totaly differnet stories and characters for each game but with each having a horror setting... until everyone started wanting to see what happened to raccon city and the characters.

The winter update is always in November. Anyone whos had live for a while knows this so hardly news.
The game sucks. No amount of camera fixing etc is going to change the fact. The only way to make it better is bin it and start again. don't waste your cash on this its awful.

Uncharted and tombraider are two very different games. I prefer tombraider though as Uncharted was all shooting and very little exploring.. was a bit dull after a while.
